Blackwater Falls State Park has a 65-unit tent and trailer campground with individual sites and a centrally located bathhouse with hot showers, Laundromat and a dumping station. A total of 30 sites have electric hookups.
The campground is open from the last weekend in April through October 31 annually with a maximum camping period of two weeks. Reservations are accepted for twenty of Blackwater Falls' campsites from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

In addition to the usual fee, a $5 handling fee will be charged on advanced reservations. Your advanced reservations will be secured with VISA, Master Card, American Express or Diners Club. Reservations are recommended during summer months.

Twenty of the 65 sites are designated and available for seasonal reservations. Reservations may be made by mail, phone, or in person up to two (2) days in advance and must be secured by payment of a deposit for the entire rental fee, plus a $5.00 handling charge. Payment of the deposit may be made by personal check, money order or accepted credit cards. The deposit must be received in accordance with instructions given by the park office at the time the reservation is made.

Cancellations of campsite rentals must be made within seven days of the reservation. Cancellations result in the a refund of the deposit less the first night campsite fee and the $5 handling fee forfeited on all cancellations. If campsite cancellations occur seven days or less in advance, no refunds are issued.
No bicycle may be ridden in campgrounds after dark, unless it is equipped with lights on both front and rear and they are turned on. Anyone age 15 and under must wear a helmet when riding a bicycle on the park as directed by WV State Law.
Are permitted in the campground but must be on leash not more than 10 feet in length.
WV residents and non-residents who have reached their 60th birthday are eligible for senior discounts and will receive a 10% discount on camping rates year-round with proof of age.
WV resident seniors who have reached their 62nd birthday will receive a 50% discount on camping rates from the day after Labor Day until 4 days prior to Memorial Day.
Individuals receiving a Senior Citizen rate receive this rate only when the campsite is for their personal use.
WV residents who are totally and permanently disabled are entitled to a 50% reduction on campground rental fees from the day after Labor Day until 4 days prior to Memorial Day.
To qualify for this discount, eligible persons must submit an application, certification of state residency, and a disability form to the Chief of Parks. Verified applicants will receive a permanent disability campground discount card via mail. Cards are not issued by individual parks or forests.
